About Our Staff

Olga Jaimez, DVM
Dr. J was born, raised, and still currently lives on the Southside of San Antonio. She has practiced on the Southside since graduation from Texas A&M University in 1992. She worked for Mission Animal Hospital for 7 years, Southside Animal Emergency Clinic for 2 years, and Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital for 5 years. In 2005, Dr. J finally pursued her lifelong dream to open her own clinic on the Southside. Dr. J enjoys helping the community by providing quality pet care.
Dr. J was also a full-time instructor at Palo Alto College in the Veterinary Technology Program for over 12 years, teaching the students to become certified veterinary technician
Dr. J has numerous cats, several chihuahuas including Lilly, the biking chihuahua, and Newman the famous one-ear Bull Terrier.

Ben, LVT:
Ben is a licensed veterinary technician. Ben has been with us since 2012. Ben graduated from Palo Alto College of Veterinary Technology in 2013. In 2002, Ben obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science of Animal Husbandry Degree. Ben's skills include surgical assistance/ monitoring, dentistry, clinical pathology, lab procedures, cytology evaluation, and pharmacology calculations. Ben hopes to continue his education to obtain his doctor of veterinary medicine degree in the future. Ben is also hoping to adopt one of our clinic pets soon.

Gena, LVT
Gena is a licensed veterinary technician. She joined 4 Paws in 2012. She is also a Palo Alto College of Veterinary Technology graduate. Gena’s skills include intravenous catheterization, surgical assistance/monitoring, dentistry, lab procedures, patient care, and radiology. Gena enjoys caring for all our patients, but especially our feline patients. Gena has several cats, including Smokey and Willow.

Delilah, Technician
Delilah is a veterinary technician. She joined 4 Paws in 2016. She is a St. Phillips College graduate. Over the last 2 years Delilah has quickly learned about the veterinary profession and hopes to become a veterinarian in the future. Delilah's skills include intravenous catheterization, surgical assistance/monitoring, dentistry, lab procedures, patient care, and radiology. Delilah has 2 rescue Pit Bulls named Piggy and Sadie.

Abby, Receptionist
Abby has been with us since 2005 and has over 14 years of veterinary customer service experience. Abby is always happy to answer all your patient questions. Abby is very valuable asset to 4 Paws with experience in computers, customer relations, and veterinary information. Besides her full time job at the clinic, she is busy with her 2 young boys. Abby has 2 Siamese cats named Audrey and Pauly.

Norma, Receptionist
Norma has been with us for 14 years. She is our "Chihuahua Guru", and will answer any Chihuahua question with expertise. As well as, being one of our receptionists, Norma is our food inventory manager. Norma has several pets and has adopted an abandoned stray Chihuahua named "Anna Nicole". One of her hobbies is sewing flamboyant, creative costumes for her pets. Norma also has a poodle named Sassy and a siamese cat named Alexander.

Ashley, Receptionist
Ashley has been with us for over 7 years. Ashley is our part-time receptionist. Ashley is experienced in customer relations and veterinary information. Her son and dogs "Floyd”, "Lorelai Gilmore", and "Millie" the cat keep her very busy.

Amanda, Receptionist
Amanda joined 4 Paws in 2018. Amanda is quickly learning the veterinary field. Amanda enjoys training her recently adopted a Chihuahua/Terrier mix that was found on the Mission Trails.
