About Our Staff

Olga Jaimez, DVM

 

Dr. J was born, raised, and still currently lives on the Southside of San Antonio.  She has practiced on the Southside since graduation from Texas A&M University in 1992. In 2005, Dr. J full-filled her life long dream and opened 4 Paws Animal Hospital.  Dr. J enjoys helping the community by providing quality pet care.

 
Besides her clinical experience, Dr. J was also a full-time instructor at Palo Alto College in the Veterinary Technology Program for over 15 years.


Dr. J has a few cats and several chihuahuas including Daisy Duke, the biking chihuahua, and Newman the famous one-ear Bull Terrier.

Abby, CSR

 

Abby brings over 20 years of invaluable veterinary customer service experience to our team, having been with us since 2005. With a wealth of knowledge in computers, customer relations and veterinary information, she is an indispensable asset to 4 Paws.  Abby is always eager to address any patient questions with a warm and friendly smile. 

 

Outside of her full-time role at the clinic, she cherishes time with her two teenage boys and care for her three Siamese cats, Audrey, Pauly, and Simba.

Amanda, CSR

 

Amanda is a dedicated customer service representative at 4 Paws Animal Hospital, having joined the team in 2015.  Her commitment to providing exceptional customer service is matched only by her passion for animals. 

At home, Amanda is the proud fur-parent of five lovable dogs:  Sophie, Zoe, Prince, Roxie and Capote. Capote was found on Mission Trails by Dr. Jaimez and Amanda immediately adopted this beautiful pup.  Besides her furry babies, Amanda finds joy in creative pursuits like art and gardening.

 

Amanda's genuine care and compassion for animals' maker her a valuable member of the 4 Paws Animal Hospital team.

Sarah, CSR

Sarah has been working in the veterinary field since 2016 and joined the 4 Paws team in 2021. Sarah began her interest in animal care from a young age and has been helping and rescuing animals since then.  It was during this time when she decided that the path for her life involved the care of her pets and other animals.  Sarah's work doesn't stop when she leaves the office, on her days off, she rescues stray cats to help control the stray population. 

 

Sarah's other hobbies are relaxing with her pets outdoors while reading a good book and spending as much time as she can with her senior dog Bowser, her best friend since 2011.  Sarah is now living her happily ever after with her own rescue animals.

Jorge, CSR

 

Jorge joined the 4 Paws family in 2023.  Jorge started working as a kennel technician and has quickly advanced to customer service representative. Jorge is new to the veterinary profession, but his dedication to learn, has made him a valuable team member.

 

Jorge is a proud fur-dad to three pets, Capone, Rocko, and Giada.  Jorge loves his job because he can care for animals both at work and at home. 

Gena, LVT

 

Gena is a licensed veterinary technician and a graduate of the Palo Alto College of Veterinary Technology. (2013). Gena joined 4 Paws in 2012 and is a valuable asset to our team with her vast knowledge in veterinary medicine, including anesthesia, patient recovery/care, and lab procedures. Gena enjoys caring for all our patients, but especially our feline patients. Gena is also one of our cat specialists and has completed the Fear-free Feline Training Certification.

 

Gena has several cats, with her latest kitty addition adopted from 4 Paws Animal Hospital

Lizette.HEIC

Lizette, CVA

Lizette started volunteering for 4Paws in the summer of 2009.  Shortly after, Lizette was hired as a Kennel Technician then moved to Technician Assistant. In January 2024, Lizette passed TVMA's Certified Technician Assistant Exam and is a CVA. Besides her excellent veterinary patient care, Lizette is bilingual and can help our clients understand their pet's needs. 

Lizette has a cat named Chloe and a chihuahua/terrier mix named Guppy.  She also has 2 daughters.  On her free time, she enjoys watching movies and reading.

Chesney, LVT

Chesney Migl joined the team as a veterinary technician student in
2013. After receiving her license, she left to pursue a Master's in
Chemistry. After working in the Corpus Christi area she has found her
way back 11 years later!

Beyond the clinic, Chesney's love for animals extends to her home
life. She shares her space with two rescue kitties (Kismet and Moira),
an African House Snake named Liam, and tanks of freshwater cherry
shrimp.

When she's not providing exceptional care to our furry and scaled
friends, Chesney enjoys knitting and delving into true crime podcasts

Elizabeth.heic

Elizabeth, CVA

Elizabeth began as a volunteer at 4 Paws in 2022. She was hired  as technician assistant in 2023 and has shown to be valuable team member, quickly learning the veterinary field. In January 2024, Elizabeth completed the TVMA's Certified Technician Assistant Exam and now a Certified Veterinary Assistant.  Elizabeth is also a 2023 Palo Alto graduate with an associate degree in Biology. 

 

She enjoys helping all pets from young to senior dogs, and her favorite part of her job is the kittens.  Seeing pets  go home with their families healthy and happy makes her day.  Elizabeth has 2 cats, Georgie and Ester, and 1 dog, Honey.  Elizabeth continues to look forward to a brighter future in Veterinary Medicine and hopes to make a difference every day.

Kaitlin, Technician Assistant/Kennel Tech

Kaitlin started working at 4 Paws Animal Hospital in July of 2023. Kaitlin is so grateful for all the learning opportunities that she has been given.  Kaitlin is now able to care for her pets, as well as her pet patients with a better understanding than she could before working at 4 Paws.  She loves applying this knowldege to her pets, but to  so many other animals as well.  As she gains more experience in this field, she is excited to expand her knowledge and unlock new possibilities.

 

Kaitlin has 4 dogs and 3 cats, including 1 dog named Finnie who races around her yard in his new wheelchair
